SCRIPTURE:
“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.”
Hebrews 13:3, NIV.
Child of God, although this particular writing is mainly to the IGBOS, giving the fact, that I had promised to continue my writing about Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, that notwithstanding, our extended African families (Nigeria and Africa in general) are welcome to listen in, or read along, as there are certain things within this discourse, which they may glean from, thus, a reason to look into themselves as well, for godly transformation and the renewing of their own minds, too.
THIS IS GOING TO BE A MOMENT TO LAND THAT JAW-BREAKING-BLOW, TO THOSE WHOM I LOVE, and this is so because sometimes it is better to be beaten up with the word of truth, which is meant to set us free, than to be hugged with a passionate kiss of deception, one, aimed to leave us in the status quo, thus, eventually destroy us. You see, if you have any truth to tell me, however you know that I am designed by God Almighty to receive it as to be convicted by that truth, then, even if you have to tell me by yelling it at me, as long as you genuinely love me as a sister – Do that. I might not be receptive at first, but over the course of time, I’ll get to appreciate you, as the eyes of my understanding would eventually be opened by the Holy Spirit, which would make me realize, that you meant it for my good and not for evil against me – That’s tough love, but true love it is, nonetheless.
To that effect my precious ones, I want you to call the bluff of that wicked spirit called, “evil-shame,” therefore, do not mind who is listening in to this discussion in order to use it against you – There is a phrase that says, and I paraphrase, that the first step to healing, is recognizing that you need help, because although you may not have the solution for your problem, that notwithstanding, at least, you have come to the understanding that something is amiss – That alone, precious one, is a mini-definition of sanity!
The truth is, that if within a country, there seems to be a group, or groups of people, who do not have a voice in the government representing them, to the degree, that the people in power would not just listen to their complaints, but also take measures to sooth them, then, regardless of how solid that particular nation seems to be floating along, such a country cannot be counted as a fully functioning one. This is so because if it is so structured in a way, where subjecting some groups to circumstances or situations where they do not get the opportunity to have their voices heard and respected, but rather, subtly keeping them suppressed through different means, then, the people are not free, but in bondage to others who seem to believe, that they are the perpetual ruling class – It is injustice, or at least, prejudice at play – THIS FIELD IS NOT LEVELED.
MR. NNAMDI KANU
I have come to the conclusion, that indeed the proverb that says, “He that fights and runs away lives to fight another day” could be very accurate in certain circumstances! It is true, that the demon you do not face off with today as to be rid of it, as well as the Holy Angel you try to zap from today as not to be forced to go to Nineveh, would eventually wait for you at the particular junction called, “FUTURE!” Child of God, you see, there are at most, four reasons despite my fear of the unknown, why I was delighted when I was leaving Nigeria for Germany in my teenage years, and I must confess to you all, that one of those reasons is this,
“I WAS RUNNING AWAY FROM GOING TO PRISON 😊!”
Now here we are; What an irony, that I have to write about a man who is imprisoned in NIGERIA – To that effect, is there someone who is still willing to tell me, that regardless of how fast we believe we can run, that as children who belong to God Almighty, and with regards to our lives, that HE does not have the final say-so?!
Sister Susan, were you, or are you a wanted criminal? Hmm, child of God, well, going by the way most people have treated me so far, tell me if you are able to, if “LAWRENCE ANINI,” and “El-CHAPO” are considered worse criminals than me! It is well child of God, at some other time, you might remind me to tell you why I was running away from “going to prison!”
Back to my main topic, based on the few videos that I have watched, which had to do with Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, there are of course a couple of things, which I disagree with him on, and one of which is his intense use of harsh words, thus, I believe it could be traced to the times when he was frustrated with the situation of things not working out as he would have love them to. That notwithstanding, we are to practice self-restraint even at such times, and as a result, any call to take up arms, if it is not for the sole purpose to protect yourselves and your families as to defend yourselves from being slaughtered or massacred by terrorists and intruders who are intent on killing you for no just cause, should you not defend yourselves, is not one that is properly thought through. Consequently, where the government security forces have the equipment needed for their job, and are properly trained to engage any threat against the citizens, and as a result, are awake and doing their job to protect the state and its people without sabotaging their oath of service, then, there shouldn’t be any need whatsoever, for any form of vigilante group or non-state actors who would form their own security, in order to protect themselves and their people, be it in the north, south, east or west of Nigeria. As a result, such intense rhetoric which Mr. Nnamdi Kanu was overheard using, is such, which he would by now have realized were not very helpful for the course he was trying to champion. That notwithstanding, there are also very many things that I truly find fascinating about him with regards to what he was driving at, and those are things which truly resonates with me and to that regard, I agree with him. Therefore, regardless of how I try to wiggle my way out, I just cannot take away from him, the honor due him to that respect, and one of which is the fact, that he analyzed quite accurately, most of the situations we are now all facing, thus, agitating about. I heard him in one of his videos, urging the Ibos to do something very positive, which, with this writing, is exactly what I am also going to be lending my voice to.
Before, I continue, I would like to bare my mind on one of the reasons why I am writing about Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, and it is this:
THIS IS A MYSTERY
I am a very prophetic person as many of you must have realized by now, which I myself have also fully come to terms with for a long time now, that notwithstanding, only in the recent times did I learn about how God uses me as HIS vessel, besides just dreams and visions. Therefore, child of God, there are things about myself, that I am still learning about in real time with you all. Consequently, one of such is, that I have been struggling with the mystery of how it came to be, that the very day I was en route from Germany to Nigeria with my then-husband and one of my children, was the same day Mr. Nnamdi Kanu was equally en route from Kenya, being extradited to Nigeria by the Nigerian security forces. I know this would not make any sense to most of you, which is perfectly understandable, but to me, this is still a mysterious puzzle and question, one which I have not fully received an answer to. Yet, this question is one, which God Almighty will definitely answer me one time or the other, and I know HE will, or maybe HE already has, but I have not yet had the focus needed to perfectly interpret it in a way that would solve this puzzle! One of the mysterious things about this mysterious coincidence, is the fact, that besides my then-husband who had the privilege to be travelling very often, the children and I, hardly came home, hence, the timing is just mysterious to ME.
Well, that’s by the way, but back to what I was writing about, it is very clear to me, that indeed, the Igbos are used to keeping other people’s, and places’ vineyards, while neglecting their own, which as history has always shown and from what we have heard and read, it ends up being to their detriment.
Therefore, this is where I fully agreed with Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, when he was giving a video tour to the magnificent structures which once belonged to a Jew, who was depicted as Shylock in the legendary fictional book: THE MERCHANT OF VENICE. In that video, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu was rebuking the Igbos for their ignorance, which is so true, citing, that just like that Jew lost such monumental structure to the place where he invested in, which would never have been the case should he have made that same investment in his own place, that the same would befall the Ibos, should they not learn to invest in their own region in a meaningful or impactful way. Well, although, what he said is true, yet, what I would want to know is, at that time, did the Jews have a place safe enough, or did they even have such a place that they could have truly called their own?
Furthermore, citing what Mr. Nnamdi Kanu said with regards to the Jew, who was depicted as Shylock, had the Jew in question even had such a place to call his home, what was the guarantee, that in the future, he would also not have been told, that the place does not belong to him as well, thus, he needed to pack up and leave, but leaving behind his investments, of course?
WE NEED TO BE BETTER
The truth of the matter is: Igbos, you have helped to develop Lagos, which is commendable, but you have neglected your own place. Igbos, you have helped to develop Abuja, which is nice, but have neglected your own place. If you go to the outskirt of Lagos, Ogun state, a place very remote, Igbos are also there, helping alongside others to develop it, and kudos to you for that, yet, your own place is not developed. Therefore, it is time that you begin to change this mindset with the help of the Igbo leaders of course. Having said that, in a situation where the Igbo leaders due to their political affiliations are not helpful, then, do what you can. If the government is not willing to help you, then, find out how to do that for yourselves. I have come to realize, that in uniquely special cases, you might die while waiting for someone to save you, and as a result, you have to have strategies to help save yourselves, pulling yourselves up by your boot straps if you must. It may take a long while, but let that journey of a thousand miles begin with today’s footstep. There are many of us who may not be able to contribute to this effect, financially, but let those who can, do that which they can, while we all help the younger generations to cultivate the same mindset.
Although you have to protect your acquisitions, yet, instead of trying to battle it out with the other tribes, or letting them get under your skin for threatening to take over your properties and businesses, or marginalizing you, this situation that you are beginning to feel in the places where you have gone to seek for greener pastures, should rather make you as a people, to begin to self-reflect. Sadly, to say the least, one of the things which I have come to observe about the Igbos, which never used to be a part of their traits is, that amongst ourselves, there is no genuine unity and love. Most Igbos have developed or acquired the crab-in-bucket mentality, which in summary is this: As long as I am not the one who is up there, I will pull my brother or sister down, or block him or her from rising. I have come to understand through experiences, that often times, many Igbos are more willing to support others, than to be associated with the elevation of their own person, and this is where I truly admire the Hausas and the Yorubas more than us, as they have proven to be better in this aspect. Unlike when I was a kid, for a long time now, there is too much envy, competition and Jealousy amongst the Igbos, and against themselves, so much more, than you have, against those who are not of your own tribe, as you are more willing to wholeheartedly support, patronize, and embrace another, than your own. As a result, I am shocked at the fact, that we are even disappointed at others for treating us the way they do, when within ourselves we do not even have deep love for one another. This is the same attitude, which I have also observed about Africans generally, be they Nigerians against themselves, or Africans against themselves, as within Africa, there seems to be this subtle jealousy, envy and evil rivalry amongst us, yet, we always love to unite when it is time to demand that non-African continents or people, stop their racism against us – I mean, it is so hypocritical and deceptive, that we literally demand from those of them who are racists, and white-supremacists to respect us and keep us alive. Yet, these same racists, and white-supremacists, are people whose goal it is to hate and diminish the worth of human beings who are not of the same race or color as them – That’s who they’ve chosen to be! Consequently, my question to such people who hate their own race would then be this,
“Why then are you fighting the racists to let us be, if it is not for the sole purpose to get them to back off from us, as to allow us to stay alive a bit longer, with the intention to make us get some more meat on our bones, just in order for you to eventually slaughter us, by yourselves, and for yourselves in our African continent or individual African nations of origin?”
Therefore, I plead with the IGBOS, more so, the entrepreneurs to begin to invest more in the south east, especially in the east, as those places are seriously lacking behind in every aspect. This might not be profitable for you at the onset, but if you are to see it as sowing seeds, paying tithes, or paying taxes to God Almighty through these places from the proceeds you receive from your businesses elsewhere, then, I do not think it should hurt you that bad. This is so important because from what I have heard told me, most of the youth in the east, are completely jobless, without any perspective for the future, thus, many of them are into different vices which also makes going home very daunting to the rich and wealthy amongst you. Some of them who want to escape joblessness, thereby, troop into the more developed states, far away from their beloved hometowns, thus, begin their hustles, to eventually buy properties and have investments in the same places where they are, which would not be a bad or counter-productive investment, should there be a permanent guarantee for them within those places in Nigeria, that regardless of what happens in the nation, that their hard earned investments would be safe. I would also have applauded that effort even more, if they would also have the mindset to open at least, some of such businesses in their hometowns, too.
I am not ignorant of the fact, that no state in Nigeria can fully develop without the help of the government through government funds, as well as through the help of the state’s apparatus, but these are the things which in your ways, would have to be lobbied for, and should they be enemies of progress as some of them truly are, then, like I said initially, let God Almighty help you to find ways to walk around it, and still get things done, amen.
WORD OF REBUKE
When will Nigeria learn, that deflection from the truth is deception, and regardless of how beautiful deception helps you to get along, a nation, house, business, relationship or marriage, that is built on deception, can very well be likened to a house that is built on sand. Therefore, there is always going to be at least a storm, but sometimes, a super-storm that would come to bring it down – If you do not change course, it will come, and the question should rather be – When and how?!
Just like every human being who is created by God has a special purpose and gift given to them by God Almighty to come into this world with, and without them harnessing those gifts, there is definitely going to be a void which would be left unfilled, so also, every tribe in Nigeria has something unique about them which in the absence of it, things would never be as it should, thus, the need for every tribe and child of God to be well represented, thus, granted the space and right, to exist like they should. Every tribe and child should be appreciated, and if after they had been given the same rights as others, yet, they choose to remain ungodly-rebellious, wicked or evil, then, you know, that it is not the fault of the nation, family, parents, or society, but theirs alone.
Child of God, regardless of how much you are suffering, could suffer, or have ever suffered, there is something special about you, as a result, do not sell your birthright in God Almighty through Christ; your soul, the promise of God Almighty to you, as well as the gifts, which He has given to you – Not for private jets, crowd, stadium filled with people, multi-trillion Naira, Euros, Dollars, Pounds, and of course, not for a morsel of food! This is not to say that you should be timid, or become fools. It is also not a call for you to be financially disadvantaged, no, use your gifts for the benefit of humanity, but also as your own personal reward, which should benefit you too, and most especially, using it to glorify the LORD GOD Almighty Who has given it to you.
There is no tribe, ethnic group, race, gender, or even religious group, that does not have bad apples and rotten tomatoes amongst them, but that is where it should also remain; those rotten ones! Thus, after trying to help rehabilitate them but to no avail, then, we are not to allow the rotten ones to corrupt the whole lump, therefore, since as normal citizens, we cannot force adults to receive corrections for their bad ways, it is imperative that you identify the rotten apples and separate yourselves from such, or at least, do not make them your public or global signature. Furthermore, it would then be left to the law to subject them to comply with rules and regulations, but it should be done without prejudice, not out of witch-hunt to either undermine the reputation of a person, people, tribe, race or religion.
PRAYER
May the LORD GOD Almighty bless and keep the Igbo tribe safe. May God bless them and may His face turn towards them in favor, love, mercy and compassion. May He bless their fields and the godly works of their hands. May God fill their minds with innovations, inventions, and godly strategies, which would be beneficial to them, their larger family Nigeria, as well as to the world as a whole. May God Almighty forgive the sins of those who are His children amongst them and be gracious unto them, even in judgement as they repent of their evil ways in the most faithful name of Jesus Christ, amen.
May God Almighty forgive the sins of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu as he wholeheartedly repents of them, therefore, I speak healing to his spirit and soul. May God grant him peace, and a heart of forgiveness, love and gratitude to God Almighty in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
CHILD OF GOD, few days ago, I received a phrase, and this is a message solely about THE YORUBA PEOPLE. Now, I have a problem with that, just like I have had, many times with regards to some people who are also very close to me; why would the Holy Spirit give me this report concerning the YORUBA tribe when we have great men and women of God amongst them? Besides, who amongst them would believe my report, in order to do what they ought to do as to make sure, that they are in right standing before God Almighty, given the report at hand? I have done and will continue to do my prayers as usual, for all whom God talks to me about, since that is who I am called by God to be, and also hope that the Holy Spirit of God Almighty would tell others, whom they will be more willing to receive from, exactly what HE told me – This has always been my prayers whenever God gives me messages to deliver to people whom I already know might not receive what I have to say, therefore, my approach is not specific to my Yoruba brothers and sisters whom this particular message is for, but generally.
NOTE: Please, with this writing about Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, I want to make it clear that I do not know him personally, and also, that I am not seeking for a kingdom spouse in him, so, let those, whose prophesies are perverted, stop trying to hook me to any man that the Holy Spirit is leading me to speak about, counsel, or pray for, thus, children of God, renew your minds in Christ.
Child of God Almighty, remain blessed.
Your sister
Susan.
