John 16:23, Good News Translation.
Jesus told us to ask In His name, and we shall receive from God the Father. God wants to bless us, but sometimes there seems to be a disconnect between Him and us, which is always our doing.
Sin disconnects us from God. Asking amiss is another thing that stops us from receiving what God has for us. The enemy who is a thief and a robber, whose nature is to steal, kill, and destroy, is another factor that resists us from receiving from God. We need to do what Daniel did when he was seeking for an answer from God; we must persevere in our godly request, and while we do that, we also have to be sensitive to what the Holy Spirit may be communicating to us as reasons why we may not be receiving what we are asking for, or have been seeking for. The moment we understand what the Holy Spirit is telling us, we then have to put those words to action either through prayer or physical action, depending on what the LORD is revealing to us.
PRAYER!
- Father God, in the mighty name of Your Son, my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, help me to stop asking amiss.
- Father God, reveal to me the things that are hindering me from receiving my blessings from you in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
- Father God, overpower the enemy opposing my blessings from getting to me in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
- Holy Father, let my blessings be made manifest in my life in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
- Father God, make me glory You with my blessings in Jesus mighty name, amen.
Jesus loves you!
