THE CHILDREN’S BREAD
– WORD OF ADVICE –
30th. June 2023
SCRIPTURE
“’Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”’
Luke 24:46-49, NKJV.
Child of God, today’s writing is my WORD OF ADVICE to anyone of us who has wronged, or wrongs God Almighty. Having mentioned that, I’d want us to take note of this; I wrote: wronged GOD ALMIGHTY, and NOT sister Susan.
HOW DO WE WRONG GOD IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Well, on one hand, we wrong Him, either directly when we are in rebellion, or stubborn to HIM. We remember that these two sins culminate to that which God Almighty hates the most; the sin of witchcraft and idolatry, although idolatry in my humble opinion is the generic term for witchcraft. While on the other hand, we wrong the LORD GOD indirectly, when we hurt HIS children- Those who belong to Him or little children, literally speaking.
By now, most of you would have realized that I am a mere human being, just like everyone else, which means, that I am not GOD ALMIGHTY, thus, the final say in any matter doesn’t rest with me, indeed. Nonetheless, as His mouth piece, I do have a little advantage with Him, in that, like a child with a loving father, though He may not change His mind to grant me my request to jump off the cliff as a minor, on my own, without a parachute and a guide, if at all He would even permit me to take such a suicidal risk, but He might tell me to go nearer to those jumping off, just to watch or observe them, while tightly holding unto my hand for my security. Which means in the context of this discourse, that as you repent in truth, confess the evil you have done, make amends where necessary, and with whom you must, then, there is a high possibility He might call off the judgment which He had already decreed against you, but even if He doesn’t, as a good and merciful Father to Whom all power belongs, and the only ONE Who definitely has the final say-so in every matter, He will make sure that somehow, you are in a safe place in Him!
As a human vessel, even where I seal a judgment, which I have received from God Almighty to speak forth, as “never to be revoked“, you must understand child of God, that it is what I received at that very moment, or how I felt it at that particular point in time when the word was given to me, as well as, due to the severity of the iniquity I may have witnessed the person commit. Furthermore, this kind of decision always comes from a place where I felt the heart of God as it relates to that particular matter or person, with regards to the evil which was done. Hence, I am able to speak in such a tone and manner, which from the perspective of a third party, is obviously and understandably so, frowned at; that the judgment would not be revoked. That notwithstanding, I do firmly believe, that when someone genuinely or wholeheartedly repents of the evil that they have done, CONFESS IT, make amends where they know that they must, and commit themselves in spirit and truth not to continue in such evil, that in most cases, God Almighty is willing and able to forgive them, wipe their slate clean, and grant them another chance – That is one of the reasons why Jesus Christ, our Savior, went to the cross to shed His precious blood for us, who believe in Him and belong to Him – Hallelujah!
Therefore precious child of God Almighty, with our God, repentance is NON-NEGOTIABLE, and yes, it still remains so, even after the shed blood of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ as the Scripture above reveals to us. Hence, we must repent when there is a need that calls for it (regardless of how high and lofty you are, there is always a need). Today, as this month of humility before God Almighty has come to an end, let’s all be wise to always humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, as well as in His presence within us, and I ask the only good, loving and faithful ONE- God Almighty, to help us as we commit to doing so, in the most merciful name of our REDEEMER -JESUS CHRIST, amen.
Child of God, be happy and stay blessed
Jesus loves you!
Sister Susan
